D'WILDCAT | VINERY STABLES AUTHENICAT WINS ERNIE SAMUEL MEMORIAL H. | | Vinery Stables' AUTHENICAT took her earnings over the $700,000 mark with her victory in the $48,250 Ernie Samuel Memorial Stakes going five furlongs over the fast main track at Fort Erie.
Making her second start on dirt after the stakes was moved off the turf course, AUTHENICAT proved there isn't a surface she can't win over. Breaking from post two, our daughter of D'WILDCAT stalked the leaders more.... |
 | | CAUSE I CAN ( ) | | Saturday, June 26, 2010 | | CAUSE I CAN, who had found trouble in previous outings, found clear sailing today and the 3-year-old son of MORE THAN READY earned his maiden special weight victory in the 5th race at Monmouth Park going six furlongs over the fast main track.
Breaking from post ten in the field of eleven, CAUSE I CAN quickly became the the outside horse in a three-way pace battle . He took over coming off the far turn and finished up best of all to win by two and one-half lengths.
CAUSE I CAN was produced in New Jersey by the Dispersal mare, Silver Rail and he was bred by Golden Dome Stable. He races for the partnership of Robert and Michael Ades and Dean Reeves and he is trained by Tim Ritvo. |
