Vinery at Sugar Maple

It would be difficult to find a more beautiful place than Sugar Maple Farm to send your mare in New York. Once owned by department store mogul J.C. Penney, Howard and Susan Kaskel have transformed the farm into a place where thoroughbred legends are born.

Vinery New York at Sugar Maple comprises 500 acres of rolling pastures, including six barns and 100 stalls. One of the first horses raised on this land was Eclipse champion and Hall of Famer Sky Beauty. The farm has continued to produce top class horses since Sky Beauty, all the way to recent standouts like Friendly Island, Stormy's Majesty, Ibboyee, Ava K. and Swag Daddy.
